Current role
Cathryn McCormack is a Lecturer (Teaching and Learning) at Southern Cross University. My role involves growing the scholarship of teaching and learning through:
- supporting staff to prepare teaching and learning Award and Grant applications
- promoting dissemination of Australian Government Office for Learning and Teaching projects
- organising a visiting scholar program
- organising the annual Scholarship of Teaching Symposium
I am also undertaking PhD studies (part-time) through Monash University. Still in the early stages, I am investigating the question “How do academics learn teaching?” which I will address through a longitudinal case study. Read my blog for ongoing updates on progress.
